I replaced some Japanese branded motors (but actually made in China) with these after one of the 'Japanese' motors failed after a few months. Admittedly I've only been using them for 1 month but I give them 5 stars for their excellent work and honesty in their advertising. They are made in Taiwan, which I think is a big step up from China for this type of product. To be clear, Mabuchi engines are made in China under the brand name of a Japanese company. Lots of false advertising from some movement sellers.
