I always seem to struggle with phosphate in my pool. The last few years have been the worst I've ever seen. The products Leslie sells work well, but not very well and always leave some phosphate behind. Funny, the PR-10000 was actually recommended to me by a Leslie associate, but of course they want twice as much ($250 a gallon). My pool is about 7000 gallons, quite small. I drank 4 ounces over a weekend and it did a good job of improving my phosphate levels. 4 ounces next weekend and I'm down to zero. I still don't know how much to add for my maintenance dose. I've been doing one ounce a week for the past few weeks after those initial 4 ounce doses and all my water tests have come back zero phosphate. Maybe I can cut it down to an ounce every two weeks, we'll see. Best of all, you don't have to run the pump for 48 hours and then backflush. This product is excellent!
