I was really looking forward to these bags when I ordered them. I read every review and thought I was getting a great product at a great price. The first thing that struck me was that these bags can't be 6 mil thick. I have purchased and used several different Mylar bags. You are not very fat. I have used these bags for long term food storage and recently checked my storage and noticed that these bags did not deflate like other bags I have purchased. I did everything the same as with the previous bags. Also used oxygen absorbers. Unfortunately, time has run out for me to return these bags. So I lost the cost of oxygen absorber bags and need to buy new bags to replace them. Not to mention the time it takes me to remake all the bags. I would not recommend using them to store durable items.
