This is a great blanket for picnics, the beach or just outdoors in grass. There’s a soft topside and a waterproof underside that goes on the ground. The soft side is soft and breathable. It doesn’t make you sweat like some material which is ideal for warmer weather. This blanket would be a little thin for cold weather. I like the plaid print, it’s really cute for a picnic without looking like a beach towel.What I LOVE is the size of this blanket. It’s 79” x 79” which is the biggest blanket I could find. I’ve been looking at bunch of different ones on Revain but they’re so small when you read the measurements, not nearly big enough for 2 people let alone a family. This blanket is great for a family due to the size. It also comes with a flap, handle and Velcro to secure the entire blanket closed. My only complaint is that it’s nearly impossible to get the blanket rolled back up neatly onto itself like the way it came. It’s a great idea but you have to fold it, roll it super tight and even then it doesn’t line up with the Velcro. I wish it just had a separate Velcro wrap like a lot of blanket have to secure the entire thing closed instead of the Velcro and flap being part of the blanket. But other than that, it’s a great buy!
