Bought this as a commuter bag for work. It's a little too large for a personal bag, but is the perfect size for work: easily fits my laptop, wallet, documents/notebooks, pen, mints, and I like the outside pockets for easy accessibility to my bus pass, phone, etc. The materials are nice quality, sturdy canvas and leather with a high quality, thick strap; however, expect that large leather flap to get really beat up and scratched pretty quickly. I just consider that part of the look!The only thing I don't like about this bag is that the buckles on the front are functional instead of decorative: the panel snaps securely to the bag, but threading the leather straps through the buckles means you can't open the flap to get to those wonderful front pockets. So, I never buckle my bag and that means the straps flail around, which I don't like at all. Usually I like buckled straps to be functional, but in this case, I would have preferred they were decorative so that I could still access the bag. Just a thought for improvement OR a new bag option.I've gotten a lot of compliments and positive inquiries from people when they see this bag.
