I bought this for my two cats to hide the litter box and food from the dog. Even the smallest litter box doesn't fit properly in the base and my adult cats often miss them. Scraping wood that is not stain resistant is very difficult. The door arrived with a broken latch that was so bent and twisted that it could not be repaired. Possibly replaced. I will make a pot that covers the entire base while protecting the wood, but I wouldn't recommend it for the purpose I intended it for. Maybe like a cute little garden shed. But not anymore.
