I have a 34" waist and used a different brand 32-34" belt that was a little shorter than I needed to. Use the last hole on it. I wanted to order a Bullko 34"-36" belt but accidentally chose 36"-38". I was about to return it until I read that you can shorten the belt just by unbuckling one. I removed the buckle and placed the belt next to my old belt, lining up the holes with the slots. Then I offset the new strap by two slots to increase the length compared to the old strap. I ended up cutting 4 inches off the new belt using regular kitchen scissors. I used an awl and razor to measure a new screw hole and then reattached the buckle and strap. The strap now fits perfectly with a couple of slits on either side to loosen or tighten as needed. If I were to order a belt 32" - 34" it would most likely end up turning out the same as mine. If you are in doubt about the order size, simply take one longer than you think you will need and trim it. Everything else in the belt is high quality, as other reviewers have pointed out.
