The keyboard is really cute and I bought it for my office but when I first tried it the space bar made the most annoying metallic squeak like a bed. I looked under the gap and took out the two feathers that were there. Removing those two springs made the noise go away (somewhat), so I attached the hooks under the spacebar and kept using them. Most of the noise is gone, but you can still hear a faint creaking sound. However, it's annoying. This keyboard doesn't have little feet to support it, so it sucks. The keyboard already had a small support, but it's the same height as a regular keyboard, with no little legs to support it.
