I was uncertain about the material of this when I ordered it but it works great! I love that they send so many in a package and the price can't be beat. My child cannot see around it if inserted correctly, covers different kinds of glasses well. I can see how this patch could tear easily as it is like a reusable shopping bag material but it really doesn't matter as you have spares and the price is good. If the patch is put on the wrong way though, the child can look around the patch and it is not effective anymore. I highly recommend this product for children who need to be patched. You can use markers to write on and decorate them if they want to or paints. This is a very versatile material.
