I needed comfortable indoor shoes that have padding or that can be supplemented. I usually wear a 7N or 7 1/2 S but I always buy a 6 in flip flops, sandals or canvas shoes as I don't like too much length. I ordered Hotcham Casual Walking Shoes size 6 and the width was perfect! From this I conclude that these shoes tend to go on the narrow side. My toes pressed on the front of the shoe so a 6 1/2 would probably fit just fine. The shoes had no support and were not particularly soft. However, it would be easy to add orthotics. The straps, which appeared flimsy, were attached with Velcro. The netting was light and not hot. I just wish the sizes were more consistent.
