I love the material of these running shorts. But they are way too large based on the instructions for sizing. With a 38 inch waist, I ordered the XL. When I received the shorts, they were very baggy and looked silly. I removed the inner lining trying to make them fit a little better, but they were still much too large, so I am now using them for pajamas to sleep in. When looking closely at the cut, I realized one possible problem. The distance from the top hem to the higher part of the inseam looked out of proportion as compared to my other running shorts. At $20, I would have expected a little more. Somehow 2 stars feel a little low, while 3 feels high. So, 2.5 feels right.
