Review on 🏌️ Z Factor Optimal Putting Tool by Zane Myers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Z Factor Putting Machine

Used the device for 4 days and found that it is exactly what I was hoping for. I have a flaw in my stroke that I couldn't change, so I figured I'd use this device this winter to reprogram my muscle memory. Since I've only had it for a short time I can't comment on effectiveness yet, but I know my movement on the device gives a different feeling, and I know that movement on the device is audible, so I just have to take that swipe often practice enough for it to stick in my muscle memory. I can't agree with the only other review I saw on this site about the device. I found the unit to be well built and well thought out - the unit even has room for all the extras I'm not currently using to have on hand when I need them. I haven't had any issues with poles falling apart and I'm not worried about damaging my pole in any way. I found it fairly easy and quick to assemble (there is an instruction manual with photos or a DVD showing how to assemble it). I've always tried to have a straight back and straight hit, but after trying a device with a slight arc hit, I feel like this works better for me, the device can be adjusted for any type of hit, it has 5 different degrees of arc stroke) . If that were an option I would give the device a 4.5, the only reason I didn't give a 5 was that I had some difficulties with the training DVD (the DVD content is very good) but it didn't work. as I thought it should be. Using Windows Media Player, I clicked on the main menu options but nothing happened and I didn't see any instructions regarding the DVD. I could open the individual sections that were in the margins and look at the tutorials, exercises, putting theory, etc., but that's beside the point and might not be a problem for others.

Pros
  • Ball Position Indicator allows the user to place the ball in the same spot on every stroke. Maintaining consistent position of the ball is an important aspect of repeated hitting.
