I bought it twice. I like her alot. They work much better than windshield suction cups (which never work due to weather changes, humidity and a warped windshield). Even in the summer I used a mounting disc and the glue didn't come loose or melt in the heat (at least they stayed in place on me). I've been using them for about 2 years now. However, follow the instructions during installation; In other words: (1) Be sure to clean the area with rubbing alcohol before inserting the disc (both times I ordered this, at least for me, it came with a pre-moistened, sealed alcohol wipe - I didn't have it around to buy something extra), and then (2) wait 24 hours after installing the drive before using it to mount the device. Yes, I actually waited all day for the glue to stick properly to the dashboard. So no, you can't put it down and use it right away the same day if you really want it to stay tied to your dashboard.
