I really liked them. I will say that on the grill it also transfers heat to the food, so the sausages also take on the appearance of being grilled on coals. Also, with a thicker grill, I can roast onions on the mat at the same time. However. I just found out that you can't put foil wrapped food on it as that seems to create a hot spot and the fabric actually burns a hole in the mat. I've used it ten times on the grill with no problems. When I first used corn in foil there were a few holes where the foil made contact with the mat. Other than that, and I won't be doing it again, they're great.
