This step makes it easy for our little puppy to climb on the sofa. The "steps" also double as storage for toys and other pet items (I will put our pups' toiletries on one of the steps). The steps are very easy to assemble. I'm sure it has instructions but I didn't have to use them. Within minutes of opening the box, I was looking for a suitable place to place my new steps. The steps look nice. Not super trendy, but not cheap either. Definitely good for your small pets. My pup is currently 8 pounds and I'm not worried about him getting too heavy any time soon.
