Review on Blue Magnetic Dust Cover for Steel Table Saws - Micro Jig MDC-17 by Jaime Bustamante

Great concept with one caveat

Microjig make great products. I use their safety products on my table saw and router table all the time. Dust is always a health and cleanliness issue when working with wood. My Jet JPS table saw has a dust collection function and a 4 inch Delta dust bag. Dust collector, but light dust. This reduces the vacuum in the protruding part of the blade. This is especially true for zero gap inserts. The magnetic dust cover fits over the elevation wheel shaft and tries to close the gap for the wheel to cover the bevel angle. In my case, the bevel angle is indicated by a protruding pointer. Not as big as without, so it mostly does the job. The construction is quite adequate, with a fairly thick magnetic sheet. (I haven't measured the thickness, but more than magnetic bumper stickers.) You'll need to make a cut (with scissors) to wrap it around the E-shaft, since the regular thumbwheel is much larger than the shaft hole in the dust cover. NBD as the cut can be placed over the steel side with no air passage. Verdict: This is a fairly inexpensive way to collect dust.
