I have big ears and every time I took the helmet off my ears almost broke. I understand there's an ear bone, but even so, this little detail keeps my ears together. It makes my regular headphones sound louder, insulates the wind, and helps me stay cool. I've tried a half mask and goggles, but the goggles fog up when stopped frequently. I'll give it a five for staying in place while you put the helmet on.
