Ideal for non-porous surfaces!
I use these pens almost exclusively for writing and writing on glass but have used them on well smoothed (and sealed) wood and plastic in the past. They show up well and wash off very easily. They are also good for writing on cardboard, cardboard and thick paper. The only place I wouldn't use them is on thin paper (fluidity combined with the roughness of the tip tearing the paper) or unprinted dark surfaces. the ink can penetrate and be almost impossible to remove.
