Review on Upgrade Your Computer Performance with SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB SATA III Internal SSD by Wiktor Prusek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

The term of use is 3 months. I must say right away that I do not work in a laboratory and did not look at the disk "under a microscope". I won’t bore you with boring numbers about speeds, etc. (details are on the manufacturer’s website). A review for those who doubt the choice of the manufacturer or are wondering if it's worth it? Yes of course worth it! Personally, installing an SSD is the most powerful laptop upgrade that you can afford for this amount. I chose between SanDisk, intel, Samsung, all 240 GB. The first ones disappeared due to the number of negative reviews, Intel did not suit the price. Before buying, I periodically went to stores to talk with sellers about returns. As a result, the s750 has become a kind of golden mean in terms of price / quality. I put it in a working laptop (dell e6520, 6GB of RAM, i5). stood in his native place, HDD with a sled instead of CD-Rom. If you buy a sled - go with your CD and compare!, as manufacturers may have different sizes (holes for fasteners). And then the miracle began! Reinstalled win7 (7 minutes). I did not expect such a speed of work . loading the OS win7 - 6 seconds (reported by Total360) at first, now 18 seconds)), and all the work just flew. No, you do not wait until the antivirus, printer drivers / messengers are launched. you turn on your computer and start working. STRAIGHTAWAY! without freezes, brakes, etc. I use heavy virtual machines (30-40 GB), WinCC, TiaPortal, whoever knows will understand. Now the time of work, start-up, and just do everything has been reduced incredibly. I am silent about reading and writing to disk - space. Although we note that not the most, even, the average disk in the line . just everything is subjective) As for the lifetime of SDD - yes, it is limited. But this limitation comes down to 7-8 years in operation (reported by SSDLife). Of which 3 years warranty. Summary: put it, you will not regret it! In a few months you will sit and think (as I am now) - "why didn't I put it on before ?!" All the best))

Pros
  • speed, guarantee, not heated.
Cons
  • the price is relative though.
