My house is quite large and we've always had trouble moving around the house with our mobile devices while using them. (My wife can never stand in one place when talking on Facetime). We've had dropped calls, Facetime, etc. I've looked at a few mesh routers over the past few years and it's failed all of the time. The reason I waited was solely because of the cost of mesh router systems. I've also had mixed messages from family and friends who have purchased various systems. I saw this system and looked at several reviews from reputable sources. I'm always looking for quality systems that make a big difference (value for performance). I humbly have to say that I have had success with this Rock Space Mesh router. I was concerned about exceeding the limits of distance and barriers between nodes, but the signal often exceeded the distance. The number of devices and the stability of the system after a month is fantastic. Our biggest problem has been solved. No more separation from family and friends. The only downside is that I now have to change the SSID on all my smart devices (>30). I transferred them individually to the new Rock Space SSID. I'm wary of the "weak security" of this system, but I live in a remote rural area, so there's little to no threat. However, it would be nice if there was a firmware update to improve security. (I considered giving the system 4 stars for this, but it works so well that it seems like a minor issue.)
