Review on 🔒 Bull Ring Stainless Steel Flush Fit Retractable Tie-Down Anchors for 2009-18 & 2019-20 Dodge Ram Rear Holes Model 4066: Polished Stainless Cover Rail Cap with Alteration Requirement by Rhett Fifer

This is my second set, I installed it on my 2007 Ram Laramie CC with an 8" bed almost 10 years ago. This setup was on the 2017 version of the same truck. Unlike the 2007 model, the 2017 model has an overlay on the bed rail. On my truck, the holes in the bed rail cover weren't as large as the floor post pockets (and they didn't line up). The Bull Ring's stainless steel top/cover is molded so that when installed, a portion of it is recessed into the cover and the top is flush with the surface of the bed rail. The recessed part of the bullring is larger than the hole in the bed guide cover and needs to be trimmed. I measured the recessed part of the bullring. I then used a utility knife to trim the excess bed rail cap to fit the recessed portion of the bull ring, taking extra care to align the hole more closely with the bottom pocket for the bed rail posts. Note that my Ram has lines surrounding the holes in the bed rail cover that seem to indicate where the cover needs to be cut. However, trimming to align with the pocket of the bed rail post will result in a smaller opening and a tighter fit.
