I've never been one of those men who wear an apron, but as I get older I find more and more reasons to need one. I bought this apron primarily because I cook a lot and it was a great kitchen gadget. The pockets are nice and wide, so I can organize all my kitchen utensils or spices right on my stomach, leaving some room. It's a durable denim so you don't have to worry about splashing water. I'm 5'11" tall and the adjustable strap at its tightest position (wrapped around my neck) raises the apron just a few inches above my knees. Even as a man, I feel cool in this apron. It makes me feel like a man Blacksmith in the kitchen. But besides using it in the kitchen I have found other uses for this apron. It is good when you bathe your animals. Also when I am working on a project that requires me to cut wood with a miter saw, serves the apron as good protection against wood shavings. I don't have a dishwasher either, so I take it with me when I do my dishes. I'd say maybe you use a few different styles in the future, just in case someone in it prefers being cute than would look cool, but I'm totally digging this up.
