I'm glad it comes with a cutting tool because it was definitely worth buying. I love that you get two word color sets and the words in italics that come with the packaging are a bonus. The letters are very easy to stick on the board and have held up very well so far. I would definitely recommend this letter board to anyone and would definitely make a gift.
