Very difficult to put on, upper back cuts into leg

I have worn Teva sandals for many years. I bought several pairs of an older version of these sandals and they were worn out so I ordered another pair. Doesn't matter! You are terrible. Teva made the design cheaper. Shoes don't open anymore. The straps don't loosen or loosen the boots, they tighten I assume, but you have to put your foot through a very, very small hole. Many cheap Chinese shoes are now made this way; this of course saves money. I have a high arch and instep and it was almost impossible for me to wear a shoe. It literally took me about two minutes to put on a shoe - I was dying to see if it was possible - and was blown away. The back strap goes very high and has a very hard edge that cuts into the back of my heel. It was painful. The amazing thing is that I bought these shoes a half size larger than I normally wear, thinking that in the fall it would be more comfortable with thicker socks. It occurred to me that I'd better take off my shoes quickly, otherwise they might get stuck. and I would not be able to remove it. Seriously, the hole is so tiny. Needless to say, I never bothered with a second boot. I don't need Tevas anymore. I went to a department store and found almost the same shoes for $20 cheaper, with an open top that I could easily slip my foot into.
