We Bought These To Keep Our Two Cats Away From Our Christmas Tree. We had to cut them to fit. Day 2: Our Bengal cat has learned to just pick it up with its teeth and move it, which has become a game for it. Day 3: We taped them to the wall. the spikeless side which seemed to work until one of our kids tripped over a corner sticking out on top of them due to the weight of the tree stand. Night 5: We super glued them together and put the bulbs on the tree. After a few hours our Bengal cat walked over and lay on it and our other cat put all her cat toys on it. It was equally annoying and interesting! By the 10th day we had collected them all and hauled them into the dumpster. it's more effective for us because back then, cats were more amused by the gift wrap than the tree itself. To us, they were a waste of money.
