I have 4 of these, I will buy the 5th. Perfect size, wearable, good looking, decently filled and machine washable. I wash them once a week, wash cold or warm on a delicate or express, tumble dry low and they're still great. The only time one of them collided was when I was trying to rush the process and was washing myself with a heavy blanket. Padding for my small dog is sufficient. Not as plump as some dog beds, but I totally agree with that - it's much better than flat rug or thin rug about 2 inches thick. If you have a really heavy dog there may not be enough padding for you but it should be apparent from the picture and description. If your dog is a grinder then yes he will surely destroy it along with all those soft beds. Twice as thick as Midwest drawer liners.
