Stinks and doesn't work

Let me start by saying that I rarely write reviews. But when I do, they are always 100% honest. As someone who relies on customer reviews to buy products, I hate it when people get discounts or free products for their positive reviews. This is dishonest/misleading and leads consumers to buy crap products. First, this tallow powder smells awful. Also, I'm a brown skinned woman and I would never normally buy this powder, but based on another black woman's reviews and the fact that it was cheap, I gave it a try. It's more sheer than some of the others I've used but still gives off an ashy tint even with a small amount. I've struggled with an oily T-zone for a number of years and have tried dozens of anti-shine products. The search continues because it DOES NOT WORK. My forehead was glistening and sweat was literally dripping down my nose within minutes. Well maybe this actually works for other women as we are all different and have unique skin but that was MY experience. The best product I have ever used is Blot Powder MAC. It's $29 but as they say you get what you pay for. This is the pressed powder I prefer and will eventually need to be reapplied, but it holds the shine longer than many other products I've tried. (I use a kabuki brush instead of the puff that comes with the kit because it allows for a more transparent and easier application.) I mentioned earlier that I'm still looking just because I want to find something less expensive . Until then I will continue to use the MAC. Hope that helps.
