Hit SweetSpot! - Backpacks, Bags and Accessories

We recently took a closer look at Northface's daypacks (Recon, 7 Sumitts, Hotshot and Bigshot); Kelty (Redwing 2500); Lowe Alpine (Mira and Mintaka); Final score for Daypack Express destination; we bought a mountain lily; because CU inches @ 2185; was right between North Face and Kelty; but with an open compartment for the canvas between the front wall and the main wall; and the sleeping bag is tied down; you had more; if not better carrying capacity than the Kelty. The Lily's external pockets really help keep the pack organized and balanced, preventing everything from falling to the bottom of the main compartment. Derlin support bar and back pad add stability to the backpack; flexible waist belt that adjusts torso up to 19 inches; provides incline; and actually allows you to remove it; gives you strong fit skills. The fabric is flexible; for all components; hip belt and shoulder straps; making the packaging comfortable to wear; and easy to maneuver outside the body. The backpack is great as a backpack for a day trip and also great as a backpack for school, work or air travel. Though the NorthFace lacks a laptop compartment; and the hydration bladder isn't big enough for a laptop; This is a bit of an issue when my laptop is in a neoprene sleeve most of the time. and I'm not known for dropping my backpack on the floor; So whether it's elevated or not is a small matter. This is just a great package; excellent fabric and design; and if you are looking for a ladies package; or the same pack in the male version; it will not disappoint you!
