I bought a 8 channel 4 camera wireless NVR system for my daughter. Delivery time was great. She connected the cameras while her husband installed the cameras and they were completely up and running within hours. I bought this system for many reasons. It's wireless. The chambers are weatherproof. 8 channels for expansion. And there is audio!. I found it very difficult to find a system with sound at a reasonable price. System features aside, this is the reason I bought it for my daughter's family. Imagine 5 years. old man, 3 year old woman and 1 year old. the old girl is still playing and her mother is in the other room. Adult children wrestle, play with toys and pull on blankets, someone could get hurt or pretend to be hurt or lie about who got hurt or hurt a child. Mom sits the children down and reenacts what happened. Tell them exactly who did something wrong and why it is wrong. The right kid gets disciplined, doesn't whine, and finds out what they did wrong. Another reason is protection. By criminals of course to make sure the nanny is doing what is expected of her etc. Another important reason is documentation. They're trying to get custody of my son-in-law, the baby. Mom is unstable. She made many false accusations, screamed and threatened. One of her friends even threatened to kill my brother-in-law. This system is great on many levels and I highly recommend it.
