I know you will laugh but I have these lights for my chicken coop! I wanted something that would give them enough light to see their perches when they go to bed at night. but don't stay all night I searched and searched (and even tried a few other products like solar lights) but THIS turned out to be the answer! that it will work as advertised, but I decided to give it a try. These lights are absolutely as bright as I would like (they produce an amber glow over a 4 x 4 x 8 foot area. And the timer works exactly as advertised (my biggest surprise). Just turn on the light, press "Timer" ( They blink and stay on all the time.) They then work for 6 hours and turn off for 18 hours. They repeat this cycle day after day so this was PERFECT for my needs. One aspect of the product too criticism, it would be B. the "dimmer" function on the remote All other functions work well (flashing, timer, etc.) but the "dimmer" function doesn't feel right to me, though it doesn't bother me at all - I'm still very happy with the cost and the performance.
