Review on 🔧 Derale 15718 Engine Oil Filter Relocation Kit: Enhanced Filter Efficiency and Convenience by Roy Niemeyer

After installing the Derale 15718 I was able to screw in the stock oil filter and start the truck. As soon as the engine started, I heard a loud bang and shut it off. There was a large puddle of oil under the oil filter and it was loose. I tried to tighten it again but couldn't get any tighter. I removed the filter and used vernier calipers to measure the threaded nipple that Derale supplied to connect the remote filter bracket to the oil filter. The nipple that should have been 20mm turned out to be only 19mm!
