With so many crates to choose from, we chose this one because DogGoods donates to animal shelters to help other furry babies. We were hoping that the quality for the price would be better than others. That! We have tried several dog beds and this one just seems great for camping, traveling and at home. We unpacked it and put the parts back in place - it's a very solid frame and the fabric is modern and high quality. Neutral gray suits any interior. We bought this for our 13 year old Chihuahua Terrier. It weighs 15 pounds and has enough space to stretch out with toys! He loves the soft bottom and we love that everything is washable. Sometimes we sit with bigger dogs and that gives our little guy a safe haven. We like it very much, I think we will get another one for our big dog. 5 stars for well done! And we love the treat/toy bags on top! It has both a zippered mesh door and a canvas door that can be rolled up together or individually. This is a great feature for travel/sleeping comfort and plenty of airflow thanks to the breathable fabric. Update: The crate opens up on the top and side to make it look like a skylight if you want it to be more open to your dog. cool
