Incredible value for buying the latest 2TB PCIe x4 3D NAND SSD for only $320 with a 5 year warranty compared to the $500 Samsung 970 evo (Non-Plus). (970 evo plus 2TB not yet available). The insanely fast speeds in Crystal Diskmark are only slightly slower than my 970 evo plus 1TB. Imperceptible in everyday life or gaming. (Screenshots) The only downside is the lack of real consumer support like data transfer, trial or setup software like Samsung Magician or tech support. Technical support is listed as not covered by the 5 year limited warranty. The drive is HP-branded and technically supported by HP, but is actually a product of Multipointe Channel Solutions, the exclusive distributor of HP SSD in North America. BIWIN Inc. in Shenzhen, China. Firmware updates and NVME drivers are from Multipointe, not HP. Great drive for the price, highly recommend. I don't understand why these Silicon Motion SM2262EN based SSDs are more popular or more widespread.
