Very fast, portable, convenient. My only issue is that there are two connection modes, Thunderbolt 1+2 and Thunderbolt 3 [USB-C], but the TB1+2 cable is hardwired and TB3 is not. It's not a big deal, but it does mean you'll have to carry a TB3 cable separately if you need TB3 speed. It's also quick to assemble and, in my experience, works great. I can't comment on "reliability" as I don't believe a drive should be mishandled and I certainly won't life test it. Note that this is a platter, so no matter what "durable" may mean to you, if it falls off while buffering, your data will be lost forever as the platter, or the heads, or both, will be damaged. If you want a really durable one, you want a real SSD, not this one. As for me, I need to transfer a lot of videos from GoPro, Drone and Stills Rig when traveling and this thing is lightning fast and takes up little space.
