The scanner does what you need. Once you understand how to navigate the menus, the scanner becomes very useful. It has plenty of data streaming options and Wi-Fi upgrades across a variety of items. The scanner takes a little time to turn on and start scanning, but it does a great job. I was able to get a stream of data on my brother's 2016 Volvo S60, who happens to not have a dipstick (Volvo doesn't want you to check the oil level), but this scanner can report accurate sump oil levels in millimeters. Pretty impressive.
