Works well on motors with same sized indicator hole in flush garden hose inlet. These four steps are critical to your engine's cooling system and must be performed correctly: indicator hole, inserting an epoxy coated thru-bolt to cover the element hole. (2) Make sure the holes are the same diameter. If the motor is larger, widen the element hole to get the correct back pressure. (3) If the motor opening is less than, return the goods, avoiding insufficient back pressure. (4) If you can not get the waterproof seal, please return the goods, avoiding insufficient back pressure. Always use Teflon tape to waterproof the threads as you would with most waterproof nylon fittings. Replace the o-ring and/or lubricate the o-ring as a last resort if you follow the checklist above and it is still leaking.
