We followed the installation instructions to the letter T. Even the car in the charts was almost the same as the car we put it in (2016 Honda CR-V). Installation was simple and straightforward, with the exception of connecting to the return wire, only because the included wiring harness was not enough. Once installed we placed it in oil drums where you would assume the car would be in your blind spot and of course the alert would flash and beep when you try to use your turn signal. test time on the road. Unfortunately, things then went wrong. The system perceived EVERYTHING as being in the blind zone, but when a real car was in the dead zone it didn't even activate. We checked the instructions, checked and measured the position of the sensors. The bumper is made of thin plastic, so we didn't suspect it would cause problems with the sensors. We couldn't figure it out so we had to get everything back out of the car, pack it up and send it back. We were excited to try it, but it wasn't ready for the real world.
