Good shoes but tight

I buy Northface boots for my son every year. I love her! Unfortunately these didn't fit. They have padding on the sides which makes the inside very tight. My son has wide feet. Unfortunately, I bought it early as a Christmas present, so there were no returns or exchanges until it was opened. (long sigh) I usually have no trouble trying on NF boots. They're great shoes! These didn't fit properly the first time.

Pros

My 11 year old son loves these boots. They fit perfectly and keep your feet warm. They are stylish too.

Cons

Risk of Reduced Durability: This product's rubber outsole, although designed for good traction, may wear out faster than expected, reducing the lifespan of the shoe.
