Slots not wide enough. About 2/3 of the slots are narrow and should be wide if they can be used for pine pellet bedding. Plus, the straight scoop means things will fall out if you try to pick them up. It needs to be at a 45Β° angle to the handle for this to work, otherwise you'll be sticking your knuckles in the trash to tip the dustpan to keep things from falling out.
