I have hip and leg problems that are causing me a lot of pain and sitting in my once very comfortable large chair is now almost impossible especially when you try to get out. When I saw this chair, I immediately thought how strange it looks and how comfortable it is to sit on. I ordered it. It comes in a very large, sturdy box that clearly shows what's inside, so you won't want to leave it outside the door. Our UPS driver delivered it to our home. Putting it together was tricky and time consuming as many parts had to be disassembled and reassembled and the instructions are fine but could be more detailed in places. Just be patient and take a break from time to time! The assembled chair looks odd, at least to me, and sitting in it is a whole different experience. Yes, in the picture it really does look like a garden or patio chair at first glance, but that's where the similarities end. A completely different design and material, the Harmony chair is actually quite comfortable to sit on and doesn't "sag" like a patio chair. I don't need the armrests as they move from side to side and I'd rather not just for stability when I sit down or stand up. I also wish they were a little longer. I can sit in it for a long time without the pain I feel when sitting in my plush chair. I have a black ottoman that I also use and when I recline my Harmony chair and use the ottoman I can honestly say it's a comfortable chair. I realize this rating isn't the norm as this chair will most likely be used in the office and I can still use it for that, but for now it's being used in our living room where I can finally sit and watch TV or read without trying to get up. I'm not saying it works for everyone, but it works for me and I really like it. My husband has back problems and when he sits in a chair he doesn't feel the pressure on his back that he gets when he sits in a hard backed chair. a little high. I solved this by using a small neck pillow. I like the way the back of the chair feels. My height is 5 feet 8 inches. We live in a very warm climate and another benefit of this chair is that it just feels cool to the touch, unlike a solid leather/plastic/material chair. I took off 1 star for workmanship but would definitely recommend this chair if that's what you're looking for.
