I wasn't sure about this purchase after reading the reviews. A risk taken. It's a beast! I like it. Its design is amazing. There are almost too many accessories. I'll probably never use water bottles, but who knows. Whoever complains about the thinness of the bowl (? is that right?), well, I use this bowl for chopping, chopping, etc. Not for cooking. The bowl is fine, the performance is excellent. I've ground oatmeal into a fine powder, cauliflower into rice-sized chunks (some were frozen!), among other things I'm missing right now. It was packaged well and the blade covers are a must as the bowl blades are VERY sharp. Cons: The small rubber stationery storage ring works well but isn't permanently attached. When I move the bowl I forget it's there and often find it on the floor later. Second, I really wish the bowl leaves were closer together. They are too far apart. I found that I often had to run away from the bowl to finish the chop properly. The convergence of the slats would be great, but doesn't bother. When reading reviews, some issues are legitimate, but remember that some people choose to get angry and complain about anything. And yes, I paid for this product. This is not a paid/solicited review.
