One day the audio jack on the Xbox One controller stopped working. I did everything to revive him, but nothing helped. I was about to throw the controller away but it seemed like a waste of money. Then I decided to try the audio adapter as it works with older controllers that don't have an auxiliary device to begin with. I researched the Xbox version of the adapter and then came across Turtle Beach. I chose this because I liked the extra volume controls. The original Xbox adapter does not have them. It came in the mail and then my friend stole it from me when his sub broke too. hahaha. He tried it and loved it. He loves to, how easy it is to customize game and chat sounds. He also likes the presets he has. Above all, he is crazy about superhuman hearing. It only sounds a little louder to me because I turned the volume up (I keep the volume at a medium level). My friend keeps his headphone volume up, so he says the boost he gets from superhuman hearing is life changing. He hears footsteps that I don't hear. Pretty cool. I'm planning to buy another one as it doesn't look like my friend will return it to me. Haha It's been about 2 weeks and it's still working great. I will update if that changes.
