spent a lot of time and effort to clean and build only to find out it would not work.bad buyAs i don't like things that don't work. I took it apart again to test the solar panel with motor only; and it appears the gearbox is fine it is the solar panel that is FUBAR.DON't waste your money!UPDATE: so i did not want to accept defeat being an engineer!I took it all apart and actually confirmed that solar panel and motor are working just fine. Then started to build the gear box again and kept checking that everything was turning. in the end we (i got my son envolved as much aspossible) got it to work just fine; depending on where the gears are you might have to give it a little kick start and turn a wheel ever so slightly to get the solar panel and motor to take over!So I changed my rating!Take your time and be patient and you should get it to work!
