I bought this product because I wanted to explore gaming videos. I did some research and found the Elegato to be the best, but it was a bit out of my price range. This one seems fine until you actually try it. It only gives you two small cables (about 1ft each) and you have three connectors (meaning you need three cables) so you'll need to bring your own cables (which are conveniently not listed in the product description). I've found it doesn't work with a Nintendo Gamecube, Wii, or Switch, although the manufacturer claims it's compatible with the Switch (it also recommended Xbox and PS4, which I don't have either). I ended up having to buy an HDMI to USB adapter (many of which don't transfer video) so I couldn't even rate this product for picture or sound quality as I didn't get very far. . The price of this product is lower than its competitors, but this is the type of product where the more expensive it is, the higher the quality and the less hassle. Don't make the same mistake I made when I bought this product because of the price. You'll be tearing your hair out for hours trying to make it work.
