I had a stack of ice cube trays from the dollar store that were a few years old. One of them started cracking so I decided to switch to the silicone versions which looked much better. From the start they were kind of suspicious. They are not all silicone, just the bottom part. The rest of the tray is plastic. Emptying the entire compartment is almost impossible. You have to push each cube up by pressing on the softer silicone part. Not perfect, but seems to be working. A few weeks later I pull out the cube and the tray breaks in half. Garbage! I wanted a refund but for the $10 I paid for it it's not worth the hassle of sending it back and that's the only option. I've had much more expensive items that failed and gotten refunds without all the fuss of trudging to the post office and mailing them. Pretty messy. And the seller needs to know how bad these products are because there are a dozen reviews documenting the same scenario.
