We hooked it up and it worked great. We then stuck it into the rectangular hole we'd made in the dash, and the bulbs on the switch itself didn't light up - well, we could get either the top or bottom bulb to work, but not both when the bulbs were on . on.So I wanted to return it. I removed it from the dashboard. I enlarged the square hole with a file and put the switch back in place and it's been working great ever since. so i love it
