I have a brown "leather" part that is peeling heavily due to a defect. The company makes no guarantees. It was very expensive and not that old so not ready to be replaced so we got them for the very wide parts of the chair to cover the peeling skin. They fit perfectly but we have to adjust them EVERY DAY because despite the non-slip coating they still fall off when we open and close the chairs. Since the section has "arms" that open for storage, I don't need or like sashes. We put them in between the sections but I'm thinking of just clipping them off. I'm not sure if there would be an alternative. When we fix them, you hardly notice they're there. Haven't washed them yet. Saved us buying a new sofa! They are thick, large and well made. My 2 pair of boxers lay on it every day and there has been no sign of wear or damage after a few months of daily use.
