Handy little surface mount switches to add to your dash. The wires are stamped "18ga" and that appears to be correct. It looks like regular plastic insulation and isn't too thick. So if you are putting this in an abrasive situation I would add some wire or other protection. Be careful when going through the surface hole. The wires are about 18 inches long and have tinned ends.
