Almost like glue gets destroyed in filters or

When I use these filters, the water in the humidifier becomes syrupy. Like the glue in the filters fell apart or something. The water is drained and replaced every week and watered once or twice a day. But after a week without a good cleaning, the water became disgusting and the filter fell apart. So my only conclusion is that the glue makes the water that way. I haven't had this problem with popular brand filters.
