We just returned from Iceland and hiking Fagradalsfjall Volcano as well as countless waterfalls. I looked everywhere for waterproof hiking boots (toddler size 8) for our 4 year old son — REI, Mossejaw, Target, DSW, Kohl’s, and Nordstrom Rack — no luck!I’m a huge fan of Ebay as a busy working mom, so I decided to see if I could get some boots from Ebay in the nick of time. They arrived the *day* we left for Iceland.We also brought traditional crocs, croc boots, and Nike tennis shoes. These hiking boots were SO worth it. They were sturdy, but comfortable. Wide (my son doesn’t like tight boots). Two very easy velcro straps. He was able to get up rocky terrain, no problem. Any of the other shoes we brought would have been inadequate. Of course, we carried him on our shoulders on and off, but he definitely trekked 20 min or so at a time.Totally worth it!I’ll be telling all my friends
